I have a wii and wish to play it through my pc monitor and sound through the pc. Can anyone help?

I have all the necessary cables. I can view the picture on the monitor. I have plugged the red and white cables into an rc jack (i think thats what its called…) and then plugged this into my “line in” on my pc. I can record the sound yet can’t seem to play it real time. any ideas?

your pc will have to have a decent graphics card… assuming it has Svideo connection to it.. you just plug the wii video cables to it.. and it will broadcast eveything to ur pc.. and also you can record it too !!! and obviosly for the sound one again you will need somesort of input on ur pc..
