does anybody out there know how to fix a Singer sewing machine? Mine will not pick up the bobbin thread?
I did insert the bobbin holder correctly.
tried everyone’s suggestions to no avail – it was a timing issue that I could not fix – so it’s off to the Singer repairman. But thanks to you all!
After cruising a few troubleshooting sites, the most likely culprit may be that while the bobbin case is inserted correctly in the machine, the bobbin is positioned backwards, with the thread coming off it in the wrong direction.
Try reversing it and see what happens.
