How to Celebrating babys first christmas.?
We are expecting our first baby between december 6 and the 20th. obviousely this is going to be his first christmas, but wont really be “aware” of what is going on. i am just looking for some ideas and others opinions on how to help celebrate his first christmas, and what kind of gifts to get him. any ideas, or any moms out there that had the same situation, i’d greatly appreciate your opinions! Thanks! 
My daughter was born December 22nd. I was just crazy enough to get her picture taken with Santa when she was 2days old….I don’t recommend it. I stood in line, had hot flashes and it wore me out for the rest of the day. What we did for a gift was bought her a personalized ornament. She still has it (almost 7yrs later) and I plan on handing it down to her when she has her first child (hopefully 70-80yrs from now)!! Family insisted on buying her gifts so we suggested books and diapers….but my family went a little crazy and bought everything from giant teddy bears to clothing! Just try to remember not to do too much. You will still be healing and just the excitement of the holiday can take alot out of you!! Good luck and congrats!!
