How do you sooth a crying two week old?
I tried feeding, burping, changing diapers, and holding her several different ways. Is it normal for newborns just to cry for no reason?
I used the 4 S’s.
1. Sway back and forth while you stand
2. Swaddle…this worked wonders
3. soothe…music, white noise, singing, or even talking
4. Shush…make a shushing sound as hold or bounce her/him
My stepsister went to a seminar about these methods. They work great but remember babies do cry sometimes for no reason. Just keep your cool and don’t get frustrated. I know that is hard sometimes but I believe they can sense it.
